Among other things which somehow change as one crosses the Atlantic, so does the standard letterhead size. Where the standard US letterhead is 216 x 280mm or 8.50 x 11.00 inches, the standard European A4 size for letterheads is 210 x 297 mm or 8.26 x 11.69 inches.
