How thick is 14-point?

Card thickness is often measured in points. One point is equivalent to.001 inches or.0254 millimeters. So technically, 14-point, or 14pt, is 0.014" , or 0.356mm thick. However I would think that doesn't help you much :-) For a frame of reference, a credit card measures 30-points in thickness. So to better understand, a 14-point business card is about half the thickness of a credit card. Hope that helped!
