My proof looks washed out or faded. Do I need to fix my file or is it just the preview?

A washed-out or faded proof can come from the file itself or from how colors were built, so it is worth flagging rather than guessing. You have two easy paths.

• Reject the proof and upload a revised file with corrected colors.
• Or reject and add a comment asking the file representative to upload new proofs.

Either way, do not approve a proof that looks faded, since the print follows what you approve.
