Question
What happens when my order is placed on hold?
Answer
An order goes on hold when something needs to be corrected before it can print. The most common reason is an artwork file that our team cannot use as submitted, for example a file that is too low resolution or too blurry to reproduce cleanly.
- You will be notified about what needs fixing, usually a file that must be corrected and re-uploaded.
- Once you upload the corrected files and we receive them, your order leaves the hold status.
- The order then re-enters the production queue for technical review.
- Jobs are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you resubmit, the sooner it moves forward.
If you are unsure what triggered the hold or how to fix your file, reach out to support and they will walk you through the exact correction needed.
