Signs That Light Up When Headlights Hit Them
A plain printed sign gives up once the sun goes down, and this one does the opposite. During the day it reads as a clean full color sign; at night a headlight or flashlight beam comes straight back off the film, so a parking warning or an address stays sharp without wiring, power or bulbs.
Aluminum does not rust, so the sign suits a post or a wall outdoors. Signs without the film are on aluminum signs printing. The sizes here stop at 24" x 36", and our guide to vinyl, coroplast and metal signs covers longer strips and other materials.
What Are Reflective Aluminum Signs
The .040" panel is thin enough to mount with screws or zip ties, which makes it a fit for parking rules, address markers and safety notices that have to be seen around the clock. For the same aluminum without the reflective coating, see Aluminum Signs.
What Sizes Do Reflective Aluminum Signs Come In
Pick the size by reading distance. A 12" x 18" sign is the classic parking and reserved spot size, read from a few feet away on a post or a wall. The 18" x 24" suits entrances, driveways and directional signs, and the 24" x 36" lands from across a lot or a road, like a lot rules board or a large no trespassing notice. The panel below lists the ink, corner, hole and proof choices the way the configurator groups them.
What Can You Customize on a Reflective Aluminum Sign
Print both sides when the sign is read coming and going; the second side adds 50% to the sign price. Rounded corners at a 0.75" radius soften the edges, and a hole pattern at all four corners, the top corners, or center top and bottom means the sign is ready to screw or zip tie into place. Turn on a free online proof to check your artwork before it runs.
For a file built in your own software, the blank reflective aluminum sign template comes with the bleed and safe margin drawn in, and keeps the message clear of the drilled holes.

How Much Do Reflective Aluminum Signs Cost
Step up to 18" x 24" or 24" x 36" and the price rises with the larger panel and the film it takes to cover it. Order a single sign for one parking spot, or up to 100 for a full lot or a job site, and every option change shows in the total in real time.
How Do They Compare to Other Aluminum Signs
The panel below sets this sign beside Aluminum Sign Panels, Aluminum Signs and Dry Erase Aluminum Panels from the 6 aluminum sign styles. The budget Aluminum Sign Panels start lower when the sign only has to read in daylight.
