Hand Over a Business Card People Refuse to Throw Away

Majestic business cards start from a thick laminated stock, 32pt or 48pt, in a silk satin or soft velvet finish, and take up to six finishes on top: metallic foil, a raised emboss, a deboss, a glossy spot UV, a painted edge or a gilded edge. A set of 250 starts at $251.36, rated 4.7 out of 5 across 7 reviews. Founders hand them over at a closing, galleries at an opening and fashion labels in the box with an order.

The laminated board gives the card its weight, and a gilded edge or a foil logo shows when the card turns in the light. To compare them with the rest of the range, browse every option on business cards printing, or build yours from the choices below.

Four tiers run from 250 cards at $251.36, near $1.01 each, to 2,000, and a founder ordering 1,000 for a year of meetings pays about $0.38 a card. Each tier below shows the live set total and what the step up saves.

What Are Majestic Business Cards

Majestic business cards are 4OVER4's premium laminated card, printed full color on 32pt or 48pt silk or velvet laminated stock and dressed with foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV, edge painting, or edge gilding. Clients order them when a standard card would blend in: a founder's card, a designer's leave-behind, a luxury brand's detail tucked into the box. The thick stock and the finished edge make it a card people turn over and keep in a cardholder. If you want a lighter laminated build, the Silk Laminated Business Cards cover that, and the majestic card is the fully finished version.

How Much Do Majestic Business Cards Cost

Majestic business cards start at $251.36 per set of 250, about $1.01 a card, and the per-card price keeps dropping as the quantity climbs to 2,000. A set of 500 is $327.15 (about $0.65 each) and 1,000 is $377.68 (about $0.38 each), so the per-card cost more than halves between 250 and 1,000. Past that the curve flattens, with 2,000 at $731.35, so 1,000 gives the lowest price per card for most orders. Set your count on the slider below to read the set total and the per-card cost.

What Size Should a Majestic Business Card Be

The standard 2" x 3.5" is the classic wallet card that fits every holder and rolodex. The slim 1.5" x 3.5" trims the height for a sleeker look, and the 2.5" x 2.5" square breaks the wallet mold and reads as a design choice on its own. The specs panel below lists all 3 sizes, both laminations and every finish.

Stock, edge and layout decide how a majestic card turns out.

Pick a stock that lands with weight

A 48pt laminated stock gives the card real presence in the hand, while 32pt keeps it a touch lighter. Silk lamination reads as a smooth satin, velvet lamination feels soft and matte like suede, and both protect the surface against scuffs and fingerprints. If you want that raised, tactile detail across a whole order, the Embossed Business Cards pair the same premium feel with a design pressed into relief, and the embossed business cards video overview shows one in hand. Our guide on how silk, velvet and suede postcard laminates differ in feel, color and cost compares the two laminates on this card with suede.

Finish the edge, not just the face

A majestic card is one of the few places you can decorate the edge itself. Edge painting adds a band of color around the card's rim, and edge gilding wraps it in metallic foil for a jewel-box look that shows the moment the card turns. If a metallic accent is the whole point, the Foil Stamped Business Cards put foil front and center.

Design it without a designer

Start from a free, professionally built layout in our business card design templates, part of the 10,000+ design templates on 4OVER4.COM, then change the colors, copy and logo in the online editor in minutes. Mark the foil, emboss and spot UV areas as separate solid shapes, since each finish needs its own die.

If you already have artwork, skip the editor and download a press-ready blank instead. The blank majestic business card template is built at the real trim size with the bleed and safe margin already drawn in, so your design never crowds the cut or the foil. Grab it, drop your art in, and upload.

What Premium Finishes Can You Add

Foil stamping presses a metallic layer, gold, silver or a color, onto the card for a bright accent. Embossing raises part of your design off the surface and debossing presses it in, so the card carries a texture you feel before you read it. Spot UV lays a glossy clear coat over a chosen area so a logo pops against a matte background. Add die cutting for a basic or complex outline, or rounded corners at a 1/8" or 1/4" radius to soften the standard cut. Print full color on the front alone, the front with a black back, or both sides, then stack the finishes your design calls for. Each one is a separate option below with its own price, so you build exactly the card you want.

Combining two finishes on one card

Most orders at this level use two finishes, not one, and the pairs that work share the card instead of fighting over the same square inch.

  • Foil over an emboss. The emboss lifts the shape, the foil catches the light on the raised face. Keep the emboss shallow and the foil area tight to a logo or a name; a deep emboss under heavy foil coverage is the hardest combination to hold in register.
  • Spot UV on a silk face. This is the clearest contrast on the list, because the silk laminate is matte and the spot UV is glossy, so the pattern only appears when the card tilts. It does not read on the velvet stocks, where the point of the surface is that it swallows light.
  • An edge treatment with any face finish. Edge painting and edge gilding sit on the cut edge of the 32pt or 48pt board, so they never compete with foil, emboss or spot UV on the face. The one choice you do have to make is between them: both occupy the same edge, so a card gets painted edges or gilded edges, not both.
  • Emboss on both sides in the same spot. Avoid it. An emboss pushed up on the front leaves a matching hollow on the back, so if both faces carry artwork, place the emboss where the reverse side is clear.

If you are unsure which pair suits your artwork, upload it and check the free online proof before the dies are made, since that is the point where a change costs nothing.

How Do Majestic Cards Compare to the Rest of the Range

How Long Does Production Take

Premium finishes take real time. Because foil stamping, embossing, spot UV and the edge treatments each run as their own pass on dedicated equipment, majestic business cards print on a 15 business day standard turnaround, so it is worth planning your launch or event around that window. Sending files is simple: upload a print-ready PDF, JPG or PNG, then choose a free online proof to sign off on the layout, colors and finish placement before printing, or go straight to production if your file is ready.

What the 15 business days actually cover

Standard production on this card is 15 business days, and it is longer than a plain card for reasons you can see in the finished piece. The clock covers four distinct stages, not one long queue.

  • Proof and approval. Your artwork comes back as a free online proof, and production is scheduled from your approval, not from the moment you paid. A proof that sits unapproved for two days is two days added to your delivery date, which makes a same-day approval the cheapest speed you can buy on this product.
  • Die and plate making. Foil stamping, embossing and debossing each need a metal die cut for your artwork. That die is made once and is the reason a finished emboss has crisp shoulders instead of a soft dent.
  • Press. Printing, then the laminate: 32pt or 48pt board is silk or velvet laminated before the finishing stages, which is what gives the card its hand.
  • Finishing and edge work. Foil, emboss and spot UV run as separate passes, and painted or gilded edges are applied to the trimmed stack afterwards, then left to cure before packing.

If a date is fixed, order backwards from it and approve the proof the day it arrives. If the date is closer than 15 business days, a thinner unlaminated card printed fast will serve you better than a rushed Majestic card that misses the meeting.

Majestic Business Cards: Frequently Asked Questions

Are Majestic Business Cards a good choice for a small business?

Yes, when the card has to sell the brand on its own. A set starts at 250 cards, and you add only the finishes that fit, for example foil on the logo and painted edges in your brand color, over a thick 32pt or 48pt laminated stock. A free online proof shows the layout before it prints. For a first set on a tight budget, Premium Business Cards start at 100 cards.

Can Majestic cards be die cut to a shape?

Yes. The calculator offers a basic shape or a complex shape die cut on this card, beside its foil, embossing, spot UV and edge options. It shows which options combine as you pick them.
