When does my production turnaround time start counting?

Your production turnaround does not start the moment you place the order. It begins the first business day after your order is approved, so the count is tied to proof approval, cleared payment, and your files passing review.

• Day one: the first production business day is the day after approval, and approvals that land after the 6 PM EST business-day cutoff register on the next business day, pushing day one back accordingly.
• Business days only: production runs Monday through Friday; weekends do not count toward the turnaround.
• Payment must clear: until payment is successfully received and processed, the production clock does not begin, so a payment hold pushes the finish date back by the same amount.
• File review: files need to pass review and be approved for production to move forward on schedule; even expedited products, such as a 3-day trifold brochure, start counting only once files are approved and payment is confirmed.
• Your selected turnaround sets the window: the finish date combines the turnaround you chose with the approval date, so a 3-day option means 3 business days from approval, and many typical jobs run about 5 to 6 business days.
• No rush fee: normal turnaround orders carry no rush charge.
• Completion date: the last business day of your stated turnaround, with completion available up to 5:30 PM that day.

Approving your proof promptly and clearing payment quickly are the best ways to keep the schedule on track, since a delayed approval pushes the start date back day for day.
