Question
Why is there a delay in my tracking link appearing in the shipping email?
Answer
After a shipment notification goes out, the tracking link can take a little time to go live in the system.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the link to activate after the notice, since the carrier needs time to scan the package into their network.
- An "Unable to Track Shipment" message early on is normal. Check back in a few hours rather than refreshing repeatedly, because carrier data updates in batches.
- The link becomes clickable once the carrier records the first scan, and the estimated delivery date populates once the parcel is in transit.
- Weekend and holiday handoffs can add a little extra lag before the first scan.
- Double-check the tracking number was copied fully and correctly, with no missing digits, before assuming there is a problem.
- If there is still no data after a full business day, contact support with your order number to confirm the shipment.
