Will the colors look the same on a reprint?

There is no guarantee that colors will look exactly the same on a reprint. Ink, paper batches, press calibration, and the natural variation of the four-color process all shift slightly from one run to the next, so a reprint can land a touch lighter, darker, or warmer than your first order. If color accuracy is critical to your brand, a few habits give you the best chance of a close match.

• Build files in CMYK: designing and saving in CMYK removes the guesswork of an RGB-to-CMYK conversion happening at print time.
• Keep your source file: reprinting from the exact same print-ready file avoids new color shifts introduced by re-exporting.
• Match paper and finish: the same stock and coating you chose the first time will reproduce color most consistently.
• Order together when you can: printing a large quantity in one run holds color more tightly than splitting it across separate orders on different days.
