What does the red line on my proof mean?

A red line on your proof is a guide mark, not something that prints. It shows where the piece will be finished after printing.

• What it marks: red lines typically indicate trim edges, fold lines, or other bindery positions.
• Trim line: everything outside the red trim line is cut away and discarded, while everything inside it stays on your final printed product.
• Not printed: these guide lines are for reference only and do not appear on your final piece.
• Check placement: the area just inside the line is the safe zone, so keep important text, logos, and images well clear of fold and trim lines.
