Question

Can I modify a previous order without creating a duplicate reorder?

Answer

Yes. When you want changes to a past order but do not want the system to treat it as an exact reprint, you place the order as normal and then flag the edits so the prepress team catches them before printing.

  • Start the order the usual way from your account or the product page.
  • In the comments or notes section, clearly state that this is not a reprint and describe exactly what needs to change.
  • Complete checkout so the order enters the queue.
  • When your proofs arrive, reject them instead of approving. This routes the job to the file team.
  • The file team reads your note and applies the requested edits before the job prints.

Keep in mind that manual edits by the file team carry an additional editing fee, so it helps to describe your changes precisely the first time.
