Care, washing and wear

- Hi-gloss UV and semi-gloss. The coating sits over the ink, so the face wipes clean and shrugs off fingerprints and light kitchen splash. This is the one for a jar or bottle that gets handled.
- White vinyl, clear permanent and cling. The plastic face does not soften when it gets wet, which is why it is the choice for anything chilled, condensating or wiped down. Cling repositions, clear permanent does not.

The adhesive holds on clean, dry, smooth surfaces. Glass, coated card, plastic and metal all take it. Give it a few hours to reach full grip before the item is shipped or chilled, and expect less from a dusty, oily, textured or freshly cleaned surface, since the label can only hold as well as the layer it is stuck to. Nothing here is a machine wash product: if the item goes in a washing machine, the label belongs on the packaging rather than on the garment.
