White, Clear or Frosted Plastic Business Cards
White is the one to pick when the design carries photographs, dense color or small type. Solid white PVC behind the ink means every color prints as intended and text stays legible.

Is 30mil the Same as 20pt
No. 30mil is 0.76 mm, the ISO thickness of a credit card. A 20pt plastic card is about two thirds of that and flexes noticeably when you hold it by one edge. Every card on this page is the thicker 30mil.
What Finishes and Ink Options Can You Choose
For ink you choose 4/0, full color across the front with a blank back for a signature panel or handwriting, or 4/4, full color on both sides so the back can carry terms, a barcode, or a second design. The face takes one of two finishes, compared below.
UV Gloss Finish or Silk Laminated Matte Finish
UV Gloss Finish is the shiny face, the one that makes photographs and saturated color read the way they do on a bank card, and it wipes clean when the card lives in a wallet.
Silk Laminated Matte Finish is the low sheen option, and it is the one to choose if anything is going to be written on the card. A matte surface holds pen ink instead of beading it, which makes it the better partner for a signature panel or for handwritten member numbers and dates.
