How much bleed is required for your labels?
Answer
Every label product requires 1/8" (0.125") of bleed on all four sides. Bleed is extra artwork past the trim line that prevents a white edge if the cut shifts slightly.

- Build the document at your finished label size, then add the bleed around it.
- Push background color and images past the trim into the bleed zone.
- Keep important text and logos at least 1/8" inside the trim so nothing is clipped.
