Question
What color options are available for printing (like 4/0, 4/4, 1/0)?
Answer
Those numbers are standard printing shorthand for how many ink colors print on each side of a sheet. The first number is the front, the second is the back.
| Notation | Front | Back |
|---|---|---|
| 4/0 | Full color (CMYK) | Blank |
| 4/4 | Full color (CMYK) | Full color (CMYK) |
| 1/0 | One color (usually black) | Blank |
| 4/1 | Full color (CMYK) | One color |
The 4 stands for the four CMYK process colors, and the 0 means nothing prints on that side. Pick the combination that matches whether your design is single or double sided.
