Because the product is not being produced at the Astoria, NY headquarters, and customer pickup is only offered for products produced there. Due to the nature of several products in 4OVER4's expansive catalog, some items may be produced at other facilities under 4OVER4's employment or control, either because physical space at headquarters is prohibitive or because the particular materials of the print require different handling to ensure its integrity and quality. Those items ship to you from the out-of-state production facility instead of being available for pickup.
