What file formats are accepted for canning labels?
Answer
PDF, AI, PSD, and EPS are all accepted for canning labels. A PDF is the safest of the four, since fonts, color, and layout stay fixed no matter which machine opens it.
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum
- Color mode: CMYK, not RGB
- Bleed: 0.125 inch on all sides
- Fonts: outlined or fully embedded
