What sizes are available for greeting cards?
Greeting cards come in several standard sizes, and the right one usually depends on the envelope you plan to use and how much room your design needs. The most common formats fit widely available envelopes, which keeps mailing simple.

Before you finalize a layout, check the product specs for your specific card type to confirm the exact dimensions and any folding options.
Folded cards are built at the flat size with bleed, then scored and folded: a 10" x 7" sheet folds to 5" x 7", and 8.5" x 5.5" folds to 4.25" x 5.5". Greeting cards come in those two sizes; laminated cards such as velvet and suede also offer 4.5" x 6", 6" x 6" and 5.5" x 4.25". Confirm the size against your envelope so everything fits.
